‑ Equipment drawing review and approval ‑ P&ID development and review ‑ Material selection ‑ Piping layout ‑ Pipe Stress Analysis.
Strong working knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and piping codes, API and other industry standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of inter-discipline requirements
Strong organizational skills.
Strong understanding of consultant engineering workflow and project execution.
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel) and engineering software programs, such as CAESAR II, COMPRESS, and FEA programs.
Capable of some travel and remote site assignments.
Applicants must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
Education and Experience
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university or equivalent
8+ years engineering experience – preferably in the petrochemical industry with a strong background in Oil and Gas Production and Refining, Gas Compression and Transmission.
Physical Requirements
Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Field trips to job sites (local and/or remote) will be required, so applicant must be open to travel and site assignments.
