Job Title: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design MEP systems for regional projects in schools, healthcare, business, and retail industries.
• Utilize AutoCAD and collaborate with CAD operators to ensure precision in designs and timely completion.
• Manage projects, work with other engineers or designers, and handle design functions on small and medium-sized projects.
• Perform engineering designs on large and/or complex projects under the direction of a principal, including interfacing with other personnel.
• Stay knowledgeable about building codes, standards, and building structures.
• Demonstrate a desire to learn and understand how to design MEP/FP systems in various industries.

Essential Skills

• 5-10+ years of design experience in the engineering field.
• Bachelor"s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant MEP design project experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• E.I.T or P.E certification is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC, Fire Protection, and Building Systems.
• Familiarity with Revit and building codes.
• Strong project management and engineering skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Middletown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
