Pay Range:  $90/Hr. to $120/Hr.

Job Description: 

• Our work is at the forefront of new computing and human input technologies. To develop this hardware, we require a Mechanical Engineer with rapid prototyping, fixture development, and mechanical testing experience. We seek someone with the curiosity to research and investigate the design and functionality of a new class of wearable technology. In this role, you will prototype and rework design concepts, generate fixture designs, make engineering drawings, execute testing, and analyze results.
• The ideal candidate will come from a design or testing background and is now a mechanical engineer. Current role needs to be more focused on the hardware testing/mechanics of a product than design.

• Experience on the consumer electronics side – who have worked on high volume products like wearables (e.g. – apple watch, meta sunglasses etc.)
• Carried out research, design, develop, manufacture, and test wearable devices with a focus on rapid prototyping and device rework/repair
• Design mechanical test fixtures and generate testing procedures – focusing on the hardware side specifically analyzing test data against hardware specifications
• Assist on device failure analysis
• Provide 2D/3D of fixture and prototype concepts – must be able to make sketches, engineer drawings etc.
