Join a well-established engineering firm with a strong presence in South Florida, known for delivering high-quality design on complex residential and commercial developments, including high-rise buildings. This team is growing and looking to add a Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer (PE) to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

This is a mid-to-senior level role focused on the design of mechanical and plumbing systems for large-scale building projects. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver efficient, code-compliant systems from concept through construction.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Design HVAC and plumbing systems for residential and commercial buildings
  • Develop construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Florida building codes and regulations
  • Support projects through design, permitting, and construction phases
  • Solve technical challenges and optimize system performance

Qualifications:
  • PE license in Florida (required)
  • 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical/plumbing design
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with mid-rise and high-rise projects in Florida
  • Solid understanding of local codes and permitting processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Stable work history
