    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join a growing engineering and design team in Orlando, FL. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in mechanical systems design and project management within commercial, institutional, or industrial settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and oversee HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for a variety of commercial and institutional projects

    • Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with codes and client requirements

    • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts using AutoCAD or Revit

    • Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive and coordinated designs

    • Conduct field visits, system inspections, and quality assurance for active projects

    • Support junior engineers and participate in project planning and budgeting

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

    • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience

    • Proficiency in HVAC design, AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical system modeling

    • Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and mechanical systems integration

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
