This role focuses on sustaining existing products, ensuring compliance, resolving field and manufacturing issues, and driving reliability and cost improvements.Product Maintenance & Issue ResolutionInvestigate field, factory, and supplier issuesPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsSupport failure analysis using test data and inspectionsCreate and manage ECO/ECN changesEnsure compliance with UL standards and product certificationApply standard processes (8D, PPAP, deviations) to evaluate changesMaintain BOMs and product data in SAP and PLM systemsDrive cost reduction and product robustness improvementsSupport value engineering based on field and manufacturing feedbackResolve production and supplier-related issuesEnsure designs are manufacturable and aligned with processesTesting & ValidationSupport and interpret thermal and electrical testingValidate design changes with test labsCAD & Product Definition (CREO)Maintain and update 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in CREOImplement engineering changes in CAD and ensure alignment with BOMsDigital & AI ToolsUse digital tools and AI-assisted analysis to identify trends, support root cause analysis, and improve engineering efficiencyQualificationsBasic Qualifications:BSME or similar2–5 years in product, sustaining, or manufacturing engineeringStrong CREO experience (modeling, assemblies, drawings)Experience managing BOMs/materials in SAP or similar ERPFamiliarity with engineering changes and root cause analysisPreferred Qualifications:Experience with panelboards, switchboards, or similar equipmentKnowledge of UL67, UL891, and NECExposure to manufacturing processes and electrical testingBenefitsSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
