We are currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer - Entry Level
Position Overview / Scope of work you will be part of:
Estimating Commercial HVAC New Construction and Renovation Installations, as well as Design-Build projects from $1 Million - $10Million. Example of some of our projects: hotels / hospitality, K-12 Schools and higher learning, and other commercial / light commercial buildings.

Position: Entry Level - Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer
Pay: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

What you will be doing:
- Perform material and labor takeoffs to identify material quantities, labor hours, and cost
- Conduct & provide load calculations
- Insuring projects meets local building and mechanical codes
- Designing HVAC systems with other trades
- Utilizing AutoCAD MEP to generate design documents
- Working with project managers to oversee construction
- Collaborate with highly skilled field crews on and off construction sites
Qualifications / Skills:
- Engineering degree from a 4-year program, EIT (Engineer in Training) is a plus.
- Great Communication skills and visual presence.
- AutoCAD MEP experience required
- Knowledge of Electronic Takeoff Systems (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Builder Trend, etc.)Technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) as conversions
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work with a team
- Experience with energy modeling software a plus
