Your Opportunity
Our Buildings team is looking for a Project Mechanical Engineer with a focus in HVAC design. You will work with direct supervision and general direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. You will assist in evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering certain Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) building systems for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards/practices. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include:
Your Key Responsibilities
Work with a team of design colleagues to conceptualize and develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects for multiple types of facilities such as:
Healthcare
Industrial
Commercial offices
Higher education
Research laboratories
Similar applications
Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer mechanical HVAC systems for a project.
Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in the development of three-dimensional models of buildings mechanical systems.
Prepare and revise documentation in various mechanical phases including site plans, floor plans, and other relevant documents.
