Job Title: Mechanical Engineer CATIA / ANSYS / FEA
Location: San Diego, CA Onsite
Experience: 5 9 Years

Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CATIA, ANSYS, and FEA to design and analyze mechanical systems from concept through production. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in both structural and thermal analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create complex 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CATIA.
• Perform linear/non-linear and static/dynamic structural analysis using ANSYS.
• Conduct steady-state and transient thermal analysis, including heat transfer, temperature gradients, and thermal stress.
• Perform FEA to validate mechanical strength, durability, and product performance.
• Optimize designs for weight, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.

Must-Have Skills

• 5 9 years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on CATIA experience
• Strong hands-on ANSYS / FEA
• Structural Analysis linear/non-linear, static/dynamic
• Thermal/Thermodynamics Analysis
• Heat transfer and thermal stress analysis
• Mechanical stress analysis and material science
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• U.S. Citizen only
