DescriptionLockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) contract, located in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military vehicle and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter.Citizenship and ClearanceThis position requires a U.S. citizen with a government security clearance at the Secret level. The role is located at a facility that requires special access and direct support of a U.S. government contract.LocationLexington, KentuckyBasic QualificationsExperience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, SolidWorks or similar software.Experience with creation, review, and approval of engineering change documentation.Experience creating ANSI/ASME Y14.100 compliant drawings.Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong communication and presentation skills.Desired SkillsExperience working in an aerospace environment.Experience with Catia V5, Creo, SolidWorks or other 3D parametric modeling program.Work SchedulePart‑time remote telework: the employee selected for this position will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
