Human Resources Generalist at Diamondback Marine and Ramlin Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and technical oversight of mechanical systems and components used in marine towers and offshore structures. This role involves supporting new build and projects, ensuring engineering excellence and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Design and Analysis: Lead the mechanical design of marine tower systems, including load-bearing structures, rotating equipment, and sub-systemsPerform structural analysis of aluminum and composite componentsBe familiar with designing for die casting, permanent molding, and welding processesProject Support: Collaborate with structural, electrical, and marine engineers on multidisciplinary projectsAssist the Engineering Manager in planning and executing engineering tasks within timelines and budgetsStandards and Compliance: Ensure designs meet regulatory and classification requirementsPrepare and review technical documentation such as specifications, datasheets, calculation reports, and test proceduresVendor and Fabrication Support: Support procurement by reviewing vendor documentation and ensuring compliance with technical requirementsOversee fabrication processes and perform inspections as requiredCustomer Support and Installation: Provide engineering support during installation, testing, and maintenance of marine tower mechanical systemsTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues with offshore suppliersTeam Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designersSupport the Engineering Manager in reviewing and approving engineering deliverablesQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 4 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in the automotive, marine, or aerospace sectorsKnowledge of marine structural and mechanical systemsFamiliarity with automotive design processesProficient in CAD and engineering software (SolidWorks, Fusion, ANSYS, etc.)Familiarity with international design codes (GD&T, ASME, ISO, DNV-GL, API)Ability to work under the direction of senior management while independently executing technical tasksStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with offshore platforms, telecom towers, or wind turbine support structuresProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certificationExperience working in shipyards or offshore facilitiesOffice-based work with periodic travel to boat manufactures, offshore suppliers, and vendor sites.Adherence to all company and industry safety protocols.#J-18808-Ljbffr
