Opportunity Overview
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation semiconductor test platforms by designing scalable, high-performance electro-mechanical systems. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions while supporting new product development and platform evolution.
- Develop mechanical designs for semiconductor test equipment, balancing performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Translate system-level requirements into detailed mechanical specifications and design solutions
- Perform tradeoff analysis and support design decisions across product development phases
- Collaborate with systems, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on requirements and risks
- Support design reviews, change management, and project execution activities
- Partner with suppliers to deliver cost-effective and scalable solutions
All About You
We're looking for someone who brings strong fundamentals in mechanical design and thrives in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Master's with relevant experience)
- 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS and PDM systems
- Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to project execution
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Additional Strengths
- Ability to manage design tasks independently while contributing to larger programs
- Comfort working across design, manufacturing, and supplier interfaces
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to engineering work
Preferred
- Familiarity with semiconductor equipment or SEMI standards
- Experience supporting platform-level system designs or scalable architectures

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
