MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Licensed w/some wastewater experience)MOBILE, ALPosition Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and licensed Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in consulting and wastewater system design. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to support a variety of municipal and industrial wastewater projects.Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred) o Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required o Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including wastewater treatment projects o Strong knowledge of pumps, HVAC, piping systems, and mechanical equipment used in water and wastewater facilities o Proven consulting experience with public agencies or private clients o Excellent communication, technical writing, and project coordination skills Preferred Skills: o Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical modeling software o Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability principles in mechanical design o Project management experience is a plus Responsibilities: o Lead and support the design and analysis of mechanical systems for wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure o Provide engineering consulting services including feasibility studies, technical reports, and client presentations o Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and environmental standards o Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and process engineers o Oversee equipment selection, specifications, and procurement support o Conduct site visits for assessments, inspections, and construction support o Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables Why Join Us?
