Join a pioneering clean energy company developing scalable microreactors to revolutionize nuclear power. This 12- to 16-week on-site internship in Austin involves designing, refining, and scaling manufacturing processes for advanced reactor hardware. You'll create CAD models, program CNC tool paths, draft work instructions, and perform root-cause analysis on production issues, presenting results to leadership.

  • Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 months hands-on engineering experience via projects, internships, or personal builds.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM, structural or thermal analysis, and working with CNC programming.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Austin for at least 12 weeks.

Preferred qualifications include a GPA above 3.4, experience with GD&T, ISO/AS standards, and collaboration in fast-paced shop environments. Candidates must provide their own housing and transportation, with some physical tasks involved.
