Job Description:This position will be the lead individual responsible for all CARE mechanical conveyor discussions.This individual must be proficient in D acad. They will lead all assembly, paint and body shop activities.Responsibilities:The majority of this individual's time will be spent in the Detroit area, long stretches will be onsite in Belvidere, IL and Toledo, OH at the plant work siteThis individual must have a thorough understanding of all types of conveyor systems, Power & Free, overhead, inverted, EMS, Roller, Friction drive, skillet, pallet systems, air-b-drip, etc.Lead all conveyors related discussions and issue tracking.In-depth understandings shall include; cording studies, chain pulls, drive studies, vertical curve studies, cycle time studies.Reviewing and approving contractor design drawings.This individual shall report to the Client CARE Project ManagersThis individual shall have a complete understanding of all items listed in the detailed engineering phase of this documentRequirements:Must have a complete understanding of all industry installation standards Expected Experience and Skills Minimum of () years automotive project experienceMinimum of () years of Client or equivalent specific conveyor installation experienceMinimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, from an accredited university or equivalent project experience as approved by Client project managerThey must have an in depth understanding of the Client conveyor standardsMust be familiar with industry standard safety, fire protection, and ventilation requirements.Must adhere to all general requirements in Staffing MatrixWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
