As an Engineering Manager within Hitachi Energy's Power Transformers product line, you will guide a talented team of engineers while shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You will be a key member of the product line management team, helping define and execute short-, mid-, and long-term strategies. By combining technical expertise with strong leadership, you will ensure engineering activities meet the highest standards of safety, integrity, quality, and performance. From mentoring teams to engaging with customers on complex technical matters, your contributions will directly support business growth and customer satisfaction.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead and develop engineering teams across specialized disciplines.

  • Drive engineering strategy aligned with product line and business goals.

  • Oversee planning, resource allocation, and execution of engineering activities.

  • Act as escalation point for complex technical and systemic issues.

  • Collaborate with customers to resolve critical technical matters and strengthen partnerships.

  • Guide capability building through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

  • Promote operational excellence in safety, productivity, and quality.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
  • Knowledge of power transformers or related technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage complex projects.
  • Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
