Currently we are searching for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.




This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position that sits onsite.




Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through production, owning design and execution across a variety of specialty manufacturing initiatives (metals, corrosion-resistant materials, laser systems, robotics, and automation)
  • Provide direct leadership to a team of mechanical engineers and CAD/drafting professionals, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and day-to-day technical direction
  • Drive team growth by identifying, interviewing, and onboarding additional engineering and drafting talent to support increasing project volume
  • Ensure all engineering work adheres to internal quality processes and applicable industry/regulatory standards
  • Review and approve technical designs and documentation produced by team members
  • Represent engineering at trade shows and customer-facing events, including occasional domestic and international travel to support product implementations at client sites
  • Partner with senior leadership to help shape product development strategy and roadmap

Position Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, ideally within manufacturing, automotive, metals fabrication, or a related industrial sector
  • Prior experience leading and mentoring an engineering and/or drafting team, with strong project ownership from concept through completion
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field from an accredited university
  • Hands-on knowledge of materials engineering principles — metals, corrosion, raw materials — as well as exposure to laser or robotics-based systems a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel periodically (domestic and international) for customer installations and trade shows
  • Due to nature of client contracts, candidates must be U.S. citizens by birth
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance hands-on technical leadership with administrative management responsibilities
