Overview of the Program

Lincoln Electrics Harris Products Groups' Mechanical Engineering Co-op Program offers hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. Co-op will work alongside experienced engineers to drive change throughout the organization. This program is ideal for individuals eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced, real-world environment where innovation and collaboration drive success.

What Youll Work On

• Identify and implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes to enhance the safety, quality, and efficiency of global products.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers on capital projects & production support.
• Learn and apply Six Sigma tools and techniques through formal training and hands-on improvement projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing or having achieved a bachelors degree in engineering
• Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• An engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial, or any related technologies
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with OSHA and SDS safety standards
