Compensation
The pay for this position is $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is On-site, 5 days a week
Responsibilities
Independently plan and perform bench-level engineering experiments to support new product and technology feasibility testing
Analyze experimental data and synthesize findings related to product and technology feasibility
Report results to R&D management and peers, including technical implications for product development
Prepare technical reports when required
Maintain scientific equipment to support technical, regulatory, and governance requirements
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) aligned with product development and regulatory standards
Support engineering teams with experimental design and product testing
Participate in product development core or project teams as needed
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of relevant engineering or lab experience
Strong experience with experimental design, testing, and data analysis
Ability to work on-site full-time (5 days per week)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting R&D, product development, or lab-based engineering environments
Familiarity with GLP standards and regulated engineering environments
