Products engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)Help scope equipment for use and complete qualificationsAssist Engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processesOperate and maintain test equipmentUse typical hand tools to build and set-up equipment using drawings and other documentationUse complex measurement equipment to collect and record dataExecution of designed test protocol and conduct testingWorks with team to organize lab functions & test equipmentNotifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect projectEffective documentation and communication of test resultsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma / GEDA combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 2 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.Experience using test equipment such as an Instron for tensile and compression testingDemonstrated knowledge and familiarity of electro-mechanical devicesProficiency with personal computersExperience using MS Word, Excel & PowerPointAbility to understand and perform designed test proceduresGood organizational skillsGood communication skillsAbility to follow directions and effectively execute written and verbal instructionsPreferred Qualifications And ExperienceBA or BSAbility to train lower level technicians and operatorsExperience working in cross-functional teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
