Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Research & Development team in Broken Arrow. This position works closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, and certification partners to design, document, and support mechanical systems for custom manufacturing applications.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical design experience, is proficient in CAD software, and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments to bring innovative products from concept to production.
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required
Minimum 3 years of mechanical design and CAD drafting experience
Minimum 2 years of experience using Codeware COMPRESS
Minimum 2 years of SolidWorks experience
Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems
Understanding of project scheduling and custom manufacturing environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems and components for new and existing products
Create detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and component specifications
Convert conceptual sketches into production-ready engineering documentation
Prepare and maintain technical reports, certification documents, and engineering records
Perform mechanical inspections using precision measuring instruments and visual inspection methods
Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, purchasing, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle
Participate in customer, vendor, and engineering meetings regarding product specifications and design requirements
Coordinate with Professional Engineer (PE) firms and certification agencies to ensure compliance
Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) registration
Experience working in custom manufacturing environments
Familiarity with pressure vessel design and certification processes
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Frequent walking between office and manufacturing areas
Occasional lifting of engineering samples, drawings, or materials up to 25 lbs
Ability to wear required PPE while working on the production floor
Work Environment
Professional engineering office with regular interaction on the manufacturing floor
Welding and fabrication environment with exposure to industrial conditions
