Title: Mechanical Field Service Technician

Position Type: Direct Hire Location: Deer Park, TX

Key Project Requirements: • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working in industrial environments such as power plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, or heavy industrial construction. • Ability to support pre-commissioning services including steam blows, air blows, high-velocity flushing, pulse flushing, and chemical cleaning operations. • Comfortable working in field environments, coordinating with craft labor, engineers, and client personnel to support project execution. • Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work in active construction or industrial operating environments.

Job Summary: NAES is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to support specialized pre-commissioning services for power generation, refinery, petrochemical, and other heavy industrial facilities.

In this role, the technician will assist with the planning and execution of mechanical cleaning and system preparation activities that occur prior to equipment startup and commissioning. The position involves working at project sites, verifying equipment installations, supporting field operations, documenting activities, and coordinating with client personnel and internal project teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support the execution of pre-commissioning services, including steam blows, air blows, high-velocity flushing, pulse flushing, and chemical cleaning operations. • Represent the company at project sites while coordinating with project teams, craft labor, and client personnel. • Verify equipment installations, connections, and system configurations prior to project execution. • Assist with equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and demobilization activities. • Maintain and manage company equipment and material inventory at project sites. • Identify field conditions that may require adjustments or modifications to equipment setups. • Maintain accurate documentation of field activities, including project logs and reports. • Communicate regularly with the home office and project leadership regarding project status and site conditions. • Participate in safety meetings and ensure work is performed in accordance with company and client safety requirements. • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and internal support personnel to support successful project completion.

Job Requirements: • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. • Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow project procedures. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including field personnel and client representatives. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide and work in industrial and power generation environments.

Education / Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Mechanical or industrial technical background preferred. • Experience working in industrial environments such as power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities is a plus. • Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a passport preferred due to potential travel requirements.
