Qualifications and Details about the Position
Responsibilities
Leads crews and actively works with them in all phases of oil refinery construction, maintenance and/or turnaround job activities
Ensure all work is safely executed and ensuring the safety of the workers and equipment
Complying with all Company policies and procedures
Understand project plans, specifications and familiarity with job scope changes
Determines quantities and types of materials, tools, equipment and labor (including subcontractors) needed to complete assigned projects
Purchases supplies which are not stocked by the company and arranges for the delivery or pick-up, as needed to ensure project goals are met
Effectively resolves on-the-job problems as they occur
Professionally interact with the client, public and/other work crews
Required to maintain work logs and accurate timesheets
Required to operate safely and lead by example
Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United State
Must be able to pass drug screen, physicals, EVP, and Background Check
Must have 4 years or more in a senior craft position in the oil refining industry
Must have 2 - 4 years' experience supervising construction crews with a heavy emphasis on pipe fabrication, steel erection, bull rigging pipe, loading pipe racks and hydro test piping systems in an oil refinery environment
Experienced reading blueprints and identify materials from drawings
Has general knowledge of towers, vessels, exchangers, boilers, furnaces and piping systems
Is familiar with the stringent welding and inspection requirements for welding process piping in an oil refinery environment
Has experience with code vessel repairs
Experienced in rigging and hand signals for safe rigging practices
Can provide work history verification
