You will be the Inspection Supervisor for the Mechanical Quality Inspection team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product integrity, meeting critical production milestones, validating product conformance, and driving continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Inspection Supervisor you will lead a crew of non‑exempt inspectors, oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and day‑to‑day task assignments while safeguarding product integrity.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and mentor a crew of non‑exempt inspectors.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assign daily tasks and manage shift operations.
• Validate product conformance to critical milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• STEM degree at Bachelor''s level or above or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Hands‑on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, ERP, MRP, or other factory‑management software - including configuration, data entry, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to develop, track, and apply quantitative metrics to influence data‑driven decision making and process improvement

Desired Skills

• STEM degree at Bachelor''s level or above preferred
• Understanding of Quality Assurance/Inspection concepts
• Experience operating in a unionized environment and familiarity with collective‑bargaining agreements
• Knowledge of quality‑assurance and inspection methodologies, including AS9100 and other aerospace standards
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin corporate policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated customer‑relationship management skills
• Strong communication, team‑building, and full‑spectrum leadership abilities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
