We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. This is a hands-on position that involves dimensional inspections, documentation, and regular interaction with Production, Shipping and other departments to support quality requirements, resolve nonconformances, and ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work effectively within a team-oriented, detail-focused, fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications and schematics to verify product conformance
· Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, ring gauges, and thread gauges
· Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections throughout all stages of production
· Ensure products and materials comply with engineering drawings, purchase orders, customer requirements, and internal quality standards
· Release approved materials and finished products to Production and Shipping
· Maintain documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
· Coordinate with Quality team and management to ensure finished products and raw materials meet established quality requirements
· Identify, tag, segregate and quarantine non-conforming materials; communicate findings and initiate containment actions as necessary
· Notify department leadership when production holds or shipment holds are required due to quality concerns
· Accurately document inspection results, including forms, computer data entry, scanning and maintenance of quality records
· Prepare and provide Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for all customer orders.
· Participate in internal and external quality audits and support audit activities as needed
· Independently troubleshoot and address quality issues within assigned responsibilities
· Support special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and additional duties as assigned
· Communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple departments to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment
· Effective communication in English, verbally and written (required)
· Spanish speaking a plus!
· Team-oriented, customer-focused work ethic and time management skills
· Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Word, and MS Excel
· Well-developed problem solving and decision-making abilities
· Attitude of collaboration and desire to develop through learning
· Experience with metals
