MECHANICAL INSPECTOR
Summary of Position
Mechanical and visual inspection of turned and milled components made in our shop and outside suppliers. Working in accordance of ISO 9001-2015.
Requirements
Proficient using micrometers, drop indicators, height gage. Microview, OGP Vision System, Keyence, microscopes, shop math, and basic GDT and CMM Zeiss (training available for the right candidate)
·Professional/effective communication (verbal, written and interpersonal)
·Ability to analyze and identify problems, strong attention to detail
·Strong organizational skills
·Experience with basic ERP systems and Excel
Responsibilities
·Perform inspections: 1st piece, in-process, incoming and final
·Collect and analyze SPC data
·Create Defective Material Reports (DMR), issue internal and external/supplier rejects and Corrective Action Request (SCAR) reports
·Participate in Material Review Board process
