Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: Englewood, CO (80112)
Position: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay:$65,000 – $79,000/year
Shift:2nd & 3rd Shift Available

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and documenting planned and unplanned maintenance activities on production equipment. This role may also support facility repairs as needed and requires compliance with established safety and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manual, semi-automatic, and automatic production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment using schematics, equipment manuals, and control system interfaces.
  • Perform complete equipment tear-downs and rebuilds.
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic components.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, supplies, and spare parts inventory.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, water purification systems, and production equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns while following established safety and quality procedures.
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
  • Participate in safety and EH&S programs.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance procedures as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of equipment and machine maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Working knowledge of:

  • Pneumatic systems
  • Vacuum systems
  • Electrical wiring
  • PLCs
  • Experience with servo-driven equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with 503B regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines.
