We are seeking two Mechanical Manufacturing Design Interns for a 4-month program starting May 2026 in Sylmar, CA.
- Interns will gain hands-on experience in project planning, design, fabrication, programming, and project management within a manufacturing setting.
- Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to completion, creating requirement documents, tracking progress, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams, and following safety protocols.
- Core projects involve analyzing casting equipment, researching 3D wax printing technology, developing test fixtures for transducers and aircraft components, and supporting manufacturing processes.
- Skills developed include CAD design with SolidWorks, drawing creation, developing work instructions, understanding manufacturing workflows, and participating in quality and testing procedures.
- Qualifications include pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields, with basic CAD knowledge, problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.
