Direct hire opportunity for a Mechanical Millwright / Journeyman.
As a Mechanical Millwright, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of operations. Must be able to work rotating shifts as well as overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on a wide range of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to ensure proper functionality.
- Install, assemble, and align machinery components accurately to minimize wear and tear.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in improvement Maintenance activities
- Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment improvements and ways to reduce maintenance costs
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related field preferred
- Journeyman Machine Repairman or Journeyman Millwright card preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Proficient in Mechanical Troubleshooting including Power Transmission, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in maintenance work.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
