Mechanical Packaging Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and packaging, is seeking a Mechanical Packaging Technician II to join their team. As a Mechanical Packaging Technician II, you will be part of the industrial operations supporting production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Packaging Technician II

Location: Fall River, MA

Pay Range: $21.50

Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM
3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM

What's the Job?

• Troubleshooting machines to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Unjamming equipment and maintaining smooth operation of production lines
• Performing basic repairs and adjustments to machinery
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities to reduce downtime
• Monitoring automated packaging equipment and communicating issues to maintenance teams

What's Needed?

• Experience working with packaging line machinery or conveyor systems
• Mechanical inclination and ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (30–35 degrees)
• Ability to perform basic repairs and adjustments
• Willingness to pass required drug and criminal background checks
