OverviewGrace Design Studios is looking for an experienced Mechanical and/or Plumbing Designer to join our MEP team in the New Orleans office. The role involves designing HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of facilities and producing high‑quality construction documents with Autodesk Revit.LocationsAvailable at select offices: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Phoenix, Orlando, Fort Worth, Dallas.ResponsibilitiesDevelop HVAC and/or plumbing construction documents using Autodesk Revit.Coordinate designs with architects, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.Perform load and sizing calculations for HVAC and plumbing as required.Create coordinated, accurate, code‑compliant construction documents.Conduct field investigations, site visits, and existing condition assessments.Assist with construction administration: reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and addressing field issues.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.Minimum 3 years of experience designing HVAC and/or plumbing systems for commercial buildings.Experience with HVAC load and plumbing sizing calculations.Proficiency with Autodesk Revit; AutoCAD experience is a plus.Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, and energy codes.Experience coordinating MEP systems with other disciplines.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality construction documents.Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.PE license or EI certification is a plus.BenefitsEmployer‑paid health insurance, effective first of the month after hire.Profit‑sharing bonuses.401(k) with employer match.Employer‑paid short‑term disability, long‑term disability, life and AD&D insurance.Additional voluntary benefits: vision, dental, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, supplemental life insurance.Paid Time Off and holidays.About UsThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical or Plumbing Designer to join our growing MEP team and work on commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
