About the Job:
Our staffing agency represents a family owned, growing engineering company that is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager. This Chicago-based company is seeking a Project Manager to help on some design and management of commercial projects in Chicago.
Role:
· Help manage a commercial project under the PM that includes working with budgets, estimates, and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
· Project are only in Chicagoland
· Control the day-to-day including developing a master schedule in collaboration with the Principal in Charge, this project deals with government entities
· Manage the shop drawing/submittal schedule and RFI's and scope development.
· Lead meetings on-site, package bids, pay estimates, change orders, and really manage the entire project.
Required:
· 1+ years experience as a mechanical PE
· Submittal Preparation & tracking experience
· Ability to use REVIT, autocad, PM software, and manage subcontractors.
· Bachelor’s degree
