Position: Senior Mechanical and Plumbing Maintenance Technician
Role Summary: Lead and manage large-scale mechanical and plumbing projects, ensuring equipment efficiency and uptime. Develop client relationships, oversee equipment maintenance, and drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical and plumbing construction, with expertise in International Mechanical and Plumbing Code.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation controls, and electrical systems (switchgears, motors, drives).
- Proven project management skills including planning, scheduling, procurement, and budget oversight.
- Innovative management techniques to boost performance and project results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
- Extensive industrial maintenance experience, especially in manufacturing or chemical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize projects with mechanical and plumbing supervisors.
- Define project goals, procedures, and standards in line with company policies.
- Maintain client and A/E relationships, facilitating project activities and meetings.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
- Procure materials and equipment, prepare schedules, and oversee technical project aspects.
- Identify and manage risks, handle change orders, and ensure effective use of materials.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts and provide technical support as needed.
- Collaborate on equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and improvements.
