What You'll Do
As a Traveling Project Manager, you will oversee large-scale mechanical construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans
- Coordinate engineering, fabrication, field operations, subcontractors, and clients
- Drive project safety, quality, and financial performance
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and project team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring successful project execution
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent construction management experience
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and project schedules
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, or willingness to learn
Preferred Experience
- HVAC construction
- Plumbing systems
- Mechanical piping systems
- Large commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects
