Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Quality Inspector to work in the Columbus, Ohio, area. This is a contract to direct hire position on second shift.
Qualifications
Hands-on mechanical inspection experience in metal fabrication/machining.
3 years of relevant experience.
Proficient with inspection hand tools and computers.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CMM experience preferred.
Skills
Understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensioning (GDT).
Convert metric to English measurements and fractions to decimals.
Read and interpret technical drawings/specs.
Familiarity with calibration systems and statistical techniques.
Conduct material inspections and determine product disposition.
Complete certifications accurately.
Use handheld inspection equipment and program CMM.
Calibrate measuring equipment.
Additional Functions
Prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
Work independently and in a team.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various movements.
Good communication skills.
Forklift and pallet jack experience.
Focus on quality control with varied assignments in a dynamic job shop setting.
