Mechanical Quality Control Inspector

Key Responsibilities:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined parts
Interpret blueprints and GD&T to verify product specifications and tolerances
Document inspection results and maintain ISO-compliant quality records
Calibrate measuring tools and collaborate with QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Strong blueprint reading skills and in-depth knowledge of GD&T
Proficiency using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators
Knowledge of QA/QC practices, ISO 9001 standards, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with CMM or vision system inspection
CMM or vision system programming experience
Compensation: $65,000-$80,000/year
