On-site Mechanical Reliability Engineer position available at multiple locations including Cedar Rapids, Eddyville, Blair, Dayton, and Hammond, with relocation support offered.
As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will apply technical expertise to improve asset reliability through defect detection and elimination, perform repairs, preventive, and predictive maintenance, and support new equipment installations.
Partner with the team on tasks ranging from simple part replacements to advanced troubleshooting, ensuring equipment is properly configured and maintained.
Ideal candidates will have a BS in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, understanding equipment operation, mechanical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with equipment such as seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers, and material handling is preferred, along with SAP knowledge.
Background in industries like food manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, chemical, or military is desirable.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of relevant work experience.
Preferred skills include maintenance process management, rotating equipment expertise, predictive maintenance technologies, and SAP proficiency.
