Job Title: Mechanical Repair Technician
Location: Grand Forks, ND
Compensation: $22.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:30am–5:00pm

About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Mechanical Repair Technicians for a rail manufacturing/repair company in Grand Forks, ND. What You’ll Do as a Mechanical Repair Technician:- Maintain repair and maintenance records
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
- Inspect railcars to determine overall condition
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning
- Measure distances and dimensions accurately
- Seal gaps or cracks to prevent leakage or moisture intrusion
What You Need to Bring to the Mechanical Repair Technician Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
