Job Description

Position: Mechanical Site Safety Supervisor (HVAC, Plumbing, Piping)

A leading design engineering and mechanical contracting firm with a strong presence across multiple states is seeking a skilled Site Safety Supervisor. This role offers opportunities in the Midwest and Southern regions, focusing on industrial and commercial projects in various sectors, including healthcare, corporate, and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and promote a robust, injury-free safety culture across all project sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, share findings, and collaborate with project management to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and integrate safe construction practices aligned with client safety standards.
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier adherence to environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
  • Facilitate safety orientations for new hires and current staff, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Manage safety documentation, including incident reports, certifications, and training records.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Safety Supervisor role or equivalent in industrial and commercial environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • OSHA 30 and/or 510 certifications required; CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a plus.
  • Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification preferred but not mandatory.
