Mechanical Superintendent

The Mechanical Superintendent oversees mechanical operations on commercial projects, ensuring the installation, safety, and quality of mechanical systems. This role focuses on managing a single project with a direct team of up to five members, coordinating efforts to meet project goals within standard 40-hour work weeks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pipe installation and mechanical system setup
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards
• Oversee team activities and provide project oversight
• Manage equipment and scheduling to optimize workflow
• Maintain quality control throughout project phases
• Document progress and maintain accurate project records
• Collaborate with other project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in mechanical supervision
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and project management
• Strong understanding of safety compliance and team leadership
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with scheduling and resource allocation
