Job Description
The Mechanical Superintendent provides daily field oversight of all mechanical construction activities on a large industrial manufacturing project. This role acts as the mechanical representative for the engineering, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring that mechanical installations meet design intent, quality standards, safety requirements, and project objectives. The Mechanical Superintendent closely monitors process and utility piping, major equipment installations, and mechanical systems, while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to drive safe, efficient, and compliant execution.

Work Environment
This position is based on a large industrial manufacturing construction site and involves daily presence in the field overseeing mechanical activities. The work schedule currently follows a 6-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (6-10s) from Monday through Saturday, with an anticipated transition to a 5-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (5-10s) at the start of next year. The environment includes active construction areas, heavy equipment, process and utility piping installations, and major mechanical equipment such as large tank sets. The role requires consistent adherence to site safety practices, use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and regular interaction with multidisciplinary construction and engineering teams in a dynamic, schedule-driven setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
