Mechanical Technician

Our client, a prominent facility management organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Burnsville, MN

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment.
• Manage work orders related to plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to prevent system breakdowns.
• Support building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in general building repair and maintenance, including plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
