Mechanical Technician Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39401
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Hattiesburg, MS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery. • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. • Assist in installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance.
Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification, or associate degree preferred.
