Mechanical Technician

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $32.00hr - $37.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in tractor and trailer maintenance required.
• Preferred 2+ years of oil & gas industry experience.
• Experience working on Cement pumps, Peterbilt tractors, Air Slide, and Bulk trailers.
• Familiarity with CAT ET, Client Insight, Davie Software, Service Ranger software.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Preferred education in Diesel Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
• Improve maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of assets within the Maintenance Base.
• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy.
• Adhere to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
• Record materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history within business systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and improvement plans to improve asset utilization.
• Reduce downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures, and work-in-process.
• Implement cost of service delivery projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on various types of trailers and tractors.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical deficiencies using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct road calls in a provided facility vehicle.
