Mechanical Technician Description:
Duties:
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment issues
- Replace parts and support equipment rebuilds
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and organization
- Monitor parts inventory and report restocking needs
- Support production teams to minimize downtime
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical or technical experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment
- Automotive, construction, maintenance, or hands-on repair experience welcomed
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and wearing required PPE
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
