Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems in manufacturing, oil & gas, and industrial machinery environments. This role ensures machinery operates efficiently, safely, and reliably by working closely with engineers and other technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and components
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnose mechanical problems and troubleshoot equipment
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand and power tools
• Install, assemble, and test mechanical equipment and system
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Monitor system performance and adjust to optimize operation
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues

Required Skills:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, tools, and systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand engineering and electrical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
• Proficiency with diagnostics tools and maintenance practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or industrial environment
• Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas or industrial machinery
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, company procedures)
