Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in lab operations, testing, or manufacturing environment
- Previous testing experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate material handling equipment (electric pallet jack training provided)
- Strong attention to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Ability to follow detailed test procedures and work under supervision
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks including setting up modules, moving laminates, and de-framing
- Basic computer skills to set up software programs for specific tests (guidance provided)
- Good organizational skills for managing lab operations and logistics
- Willingness to wear required PPE including safety shoes, rugged pants, and long sleeves
Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanical load testing and run specific test procedures under supervision
- Set up modules for testing, de-frame modules, and move laminates within lab operations
- Manage shipments coming into the lab and provide general facility support
- Operate electric pallet jack for material handling (training provided)
- Set up software programs for specific tests following provided guidance (machine programming not required)
