About the Role In this position, the Mechanical Validation Engineer will contribute to both the Mechanical Platform level hardware validation of Sanmina‑ZT server platforms. The engineer will work with cross‑functional teams to aid in developing and executing test plans that verify product hardware functionality, adherence to mechanical specifications, and product requirements. The engineer will aid in debugging, identify root causes, and resolve issues as they occur.What You Will Do Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering processesAid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologiesEfficiently execute test plans to meet time‑to‑market requirementsUnderstand how systems work and identify defects and issuesConfidently describe test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholdersTrack and assist in documenting and summarizing test results and collaborate on automation efforts for validationWhat You Bring A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, or an equivalent field0–2+ years of experience in systems with a mechanically focused test or validation settingAbility to script for testing and debugging purposesAbility to provide clear report findingsAbout ZT Systems ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, develops and delivers technology infrastructure solutions.
