Mechanical Vibration & Environmental Stress Testing

We have an immediate opening for a full time Mechanical Engineer/Technician to participate in simulation test design and hands-on mechanical testing of a variety of components to systems. Tests include mechanical shock, vibration, temperature cycling, temperature/humidity, altitude, salt atmosphere, constant acceleration, water ingress, and water/chemical immersion. Ideal candidates will have experience in completing some to all of the tests above.

Candidates should already have:

\n

• \n
• Sound understanding of engineering theories and laws, and the ability to apply them.
• \n
• The ability to read, analyze and interpret Mil-Stds, technical schematics, test standards/procedures, work instructions and customer specifications.
• \n
• Hands-on experience using accelerometers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscope, ratemeter, power supplies and various hand tools.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

\n

• \n
• An Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, technical certification or related combination of experience and education.
• \n
• Experience in vibration or shock testing desired.
• \n
• Experience in Aerospace AS9100, Defense DLA component testing environment is desired.
