Do you see what others miss?

If you’re energized by precision, compliance, and collaboration, this Quality Inspector A opportunity is for you. You will be the on-the-floor guardian of standards—working closely with Quality Control Inspectors, Project Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure every operation matches process work documents and applicable codes. You’ll also be the quality voice in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.

This role reports to the Quality Supervisor and is based 100% onsite in Newington, NH.

What you’ll do

  • Own incoming inspections for raw materials, components, and castings—confirming requirements via visual and mechanical evaluation.
  • Carry out in-process inspections at engineering-defined checkpoints and complete final inspections to verify all requirements.
  • Lead structured investigations; accept or reject parts strictly per engineering specifications.
  • Coordinate scrapping of nonconforming product in accordance with engineering instructions and applicable procedures.
  • Document everything—create and update inspection reports and logs with thorough, accurate detail.
  • Advance a safe environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Keep measurement systems ready: verify calibrated equipment meets requirements and alert the team to needed repairs.
  • Execute nondestructive testing methods: ultrasonic, dye penetrant, radiographic, visual, and magnetic particle.
  • Perform mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections of parts.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; plus two (2) years of college or technical school (or an equivalent combination).
  • 2 or more years of hands-on quality/inspection experience.
  • Fluency reading engineering drawings and technical documents; experience with welding and welding symbols; able to interpret shop drawings and sketches.
  • UT or RT as specialties.
  • NDE certification is a bonus.
  • Experience using Farrow measuring equipment.
  • Capability of certification in any qualification.
  • You hold (or can hold) nine (9) qualification levels, including Mechanical Inspection, Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II, and you can maintain them per the qualification criteria. If Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II cannot be attained/maintained, you may pursue a Company-selected substitute qualification.

Imagine your first week

You’ll walk the line, verify incoming materials, set up and confirm inspection checkpoints, run UT or RT where appropriate, and build a clear, auditable trail of reports and logs—while ensuring our Quality Program is consistently implemented in real time.
